Hello and Welcome to 4th grade. This is my 3nd year at Bennett and I am so excited to be here. I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades the past 12 years. My family and I moved to Lubbock 7 years ago after my husband retired from the U.S. Air Force. I have two girls, Emily is our oldest and just had our first grand baby. Our youngest daughter, Katie, gradated from Tech and is currently in the Occupational Therapy Program at the Health Sciences School.

 

I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my students to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well. With dedication, perseverance, and hard work, I know that students will rise to the occasion.
