Bennett Principal Nominated for Excellence in Education Award

Frenship ISD extends congratulations to Michelle Elliott, principal at Bennett Elementary, for her nomination as an outstanding administrator in the 2019 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards.

Created in 2002, the H‑E‑B Excellence in Education Awards are designed to honor outstanding public school professionals and to thank them for their dedication and commitment. Through this program, H‑E‑B seeks to pay tribute to those educators who go the extra mile each and every day to serve their students and their communities and who inspire others to do the same.

The honor is designed to recognize principals and is based on leadership and campus culture, instructional leadership and management as well as communication and community relations.

Elliott has been with FISD since 2004 and served as principal at Bennett since 2010. Bennett currently educates approximately 650 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.

If Elliott is selected as the award winner, Bennett Elementary would receive a $25,000 donation from H-E-B.
