Hello! My name is Diana Ruiz. I am the ESL Teacher for Bennett Elementary and Legacy Elementary. I moved to Lubbock eight years ago with my daughter, Savannah, and our pug, Bella. I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

 

This is my 29th year teaching and my ninth year at Frenship ISD. I was born in Lubbock and raised in Slaton. I graduated from Slaton High School. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Special Learning and Development from Angelo State University and a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas. Prior to becoming a Frenship Tiger, I taught for 15 years in Arlington ISD and 5 years in Andrews ISD. I am looking forward to making this an exciting year!
