Bennett Elementary School

Mrs. Ferrell's Class

Welcome to Mrs. Ferrell's Class Family! I joined the Bennett family in 2019. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Human Development & Family Studies and a Masters in Elementary Education. I began teaching in 2007. Previously, I have taught first grade, fifth grade, was the Math Instructional Coach/Interventionist, and am currently teaching Math Resource at Bennett Elementary. I absolutely love being a Frenship Tiger! One of my passions is helping students understand math in creative and unique ways. As a student in school, I struggled with math and I want to help all my students have the confidence to be successful mathematicians. I also love encouraging my students in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art & math) fields and I want to make sure they are equipped with the tools to be twenty-first century learners. I am so excited to welcome students to my math resource class this year and I look forward to inspiring our students through creativity & collaboration to be confident mathematicians!
