Kerry Stamps, Counselor
I am so excited to work with the students at Bennett Elementary for 2023-2024 school year!
I am starting my 25th year in education formerly as a teacher and most recently as a counselor. I graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Early Childhood Education and began teaching in Lubbock in 1998. After 21 years in the classroom, I decided I wanted to help my students in a different way and went back to school to become a school counselor. After a few years in middle school as a counselor, I decided Elementary is my favorite place to be. I became the newest counselor at Bennett Elementary in 2022-2023. I am married to my best friend, Everett, and we have 3 sons: Cooper, Hunter and Taylor. I look forward to getting to know all the students at Bennett Elementary.
