Kerry Stamps, Counselor
I am thrilled to be working with the amazing students at Bennett Elementary for the upcoming school year!
I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 1997 and began my teaching career in Lubbock in 1998. After 21 years in the classroom, I felt called to support students in a new way and returned to school to become a counselor. I spent a few years in middle school counseling, but quickly discovered that elementary is where my heart truly belongs. I joined the Bennett Elementary family in 2022 and have loved every moment since.
On a personal note, I am married to my best friend, Everett, and we are proud parents of three grown sons- Cooper, Hunter and Taylor. We also have 2 wonderful dogs that complete our family-- Sam and Ellie!
I am looking forward to another wonderful year of learning, growth, and connection at Bennett Elementary!
