Hello & welcome to 1st grade! I am so excited to have your child in my class and I'm looking forward to watching your child learn and grow this year!

This is my fourth-year teaching 1st grade. It is my third year at Bennett! I began my teaching career in New Mexico after graduating from Texas Tech University in 2005. I then moved to Arizona, got married and we started a family. We moved to Lubbock in 2012 & have called it home since. My husband, Michael and I have two daughters, Adalynn and Kassidy. They are both Frenship Tigers! Adalynn is at FMS and Kassidy is here at Bennett with me. We live in Lubbock with our dog Beau Jangles! Some of my favorites include spending time with my family, reading (when I can find time), and crafting. I love coffee, iced sweet tea & peanut butter filled pretzels! :)

I love being a teacher and enjoy making learning fun! I am looking forward to this year. It's going to be great!
