Welcome to 4th grade! I began teaching in 1997 and came to Bennett in 2023. Fourth grade is my absolute favorite grade to teach. I want each student to leave my room feeling loved and excited about reading. I graduated from Frenship way back in the early 90s and attended Lubbock Christian University for bachelor’s degree in education. 
I have a wonderful husband, Shaun. We have two girls, Katie and Jenni (both Frenship grads). We have one little dog, named Trixie. 
I love my family, reading, and working in the garden. Plus, I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan! 
We are going to have a great year together!
