Welcome to Mr. Mendez's 5th Grade Class Family! I joined the Bennett family in 2024. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's in Human Developmnent and Family Studies and a Master's in Educational Administration. I began teaching in 2020. I have taught third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade in my years of teaching. I love being a Frenship Tiger! One of my passions is helping students understand all things science through creative and fun ways. I want to help all my students have the confidence to be successful leaders for tomorrow's future. I also love encouraging my students in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art & math) fields and I want to make sure they are equipped with the tools to be twenty-first century learners. I am so excited to welcome our class family this year and I look forward to inspiring our fifth grade students through creativity & collaboration to be adventurous scientist!
