Mr. Mendez
Hi, Bennett families!
My name is Erik Mendez, and I am the 5th-grade science teacher at Bennett Elementary. I studied at Texas Tech University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also studied at Lamar University with a degree in Educational Administration. I joined the Bennett family in 2024.
When I'm not in school, you can usually find me golfing, disc golfing, or working outside. I love (more than anything in the world) spending time with my family, watching TV/movies, and playing with my dogs, Taco and Bell.
The best part of being at Bennett is the dedication that every teacher brings to provide a quality education for your kiddos. I am so excited for this year. It will be full of learning, growing, and making memories with our Bennett family!
