I am excited to be in my 25th year of teaching.  I have taught Kindergarten and Pre-K in the Frenship District for 20 years. I am excited about my fifth year in 2nd grade!

My husband is a Frenship High School graduate, so tiger spirit runs deep in our family.
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in the field of Education with a Minor in Music at Texas Tech University. I have both an early childhood certification, as well as an elementary level certification. 
My purpose as an educator is to provide a learning environment which is flexible so that children will find varied opportunities in which they can learn. I encourage students to develop critical thinking, learn to solve problems, discover, collect, and classify information about the world, extend present knowledge and experience, learn about words, and explore usage and meanings for effective communication. Above all, I strive to make learning fun. This will be a year of collaborating, laughing, learning and growing.
