Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so thrilled to be your kindergarten teacher! I have taught Kinder at Bennett since 2013 (and I spent the previous two years serving as kindergarten interventionist). Frenship is a wonderful district and I am blessed to be a Frenship tiger! I can't wait to start our school year!

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Development Family Studies from Texas Tech in 2008 (focusing on Early Childhood) and returned for my EC-6 teaching certification in 2011. I also subbed two years in FISD and Lubbock ISD before getting my teaching certification and spent 8 years as a Children’s Ministry teacher at Aldersgate UMC. 

I am a firm believer in every kid learns differently, so I enjoy teaching using various hands-on activities! I enjoy challenging my students, singing songs, and doing whatever it takes to make our learning come to life! I can’t wait for our year of growing and learning to begin!
