My career in education began at Bennett Elementary in 2018 as an Aide in Life Skills. What an honor to work three years as an Aide while I finished my teaching degree. In 2021, I taught 5th Grade Reading at Southcrest Christian School before completing my Student Teaching at Bennett Elementary in 4th grade in 2022. The moment I waited years for came true when I was offered the position to teach 4th grade at Bennett! I began teaching 4th grade Reading, Writing, and Social Studies in January 2023 at Bennett Elementary.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Wayland Baptist University in December 2022. I am certified to teach Early Childhood through 6th grade Core Content Subjects. My additional certifications include English as a Second Language, Science of Teaching Reading, and the edTPA Portfolio.
My outstanding husband, Josh, and I have been married since 2010. We are blessed with two amazing daughters, Hannah, a 6th grader at Alcove Trails Middle School, and Naomi, a 3rd grader at Bennett. We are a sold out Frenship Tiger family!
