In December 1989, I graduated from Texas Tech University and began my teaching career as a resource reading teacher at Goddard Jr. High in Midland, TX. Realizing elementary was a better fit for me, I moved to 2nd grade at Bush Elementary in Midland. From Midland, I taught 4th grade at Travis Elementary in San Angelo ISD. A new job for my husband, brought us back to Lubbock where I was a content mastery teacher at Bayless Elementary in Lubbock ISD. In 2005, I began teaching at Frenship. In 2008, I completed the Dyslexia Training Course through the Scottish Rite Learning Center of West Texas. I love working with students who have difficulty reading because I know they will achieve GREAT things in their lives. I am blessed with a wonderful caring husband, two beautiful intelligent children and two poodles.
