Congratulations to the newest Panther, Nicki Morrison, who has been selected as the lead counselor for Frenship Memorial High School. With 23 years of educational experience, 16 of those as a counselor, Morrison will use her expertise and Frenship connections to help open the new high school this August.
At the recent UMC Miracle Pennies fundraiser kickoff event, Frenship ISD was named the 2024 Overall District Fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network. Gearing up for this year, several Frenship schools attended the event to brainstorm ideas and strategize for the annual fundraiser.
All students from Westwind Elementary were gifted books to take home and keep, thanks to a grant written by Stacy Reavis, ESL teacher and PTA Board Member. The grant, funded by South Plains Electric Cooperative, has sparked excitement for reading and learning across the school.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 11.44% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $77.70.
